Tekno-Detaljer AB provides state of the art spring coilers with heat treatment and various post manufacturing control methods under the name COLOMBI. We also provide spring separators and spring feeders with integrated spring separation. Altogether Tekno-Detaljer offers a complete range of in-line spring producing and spring handling solutions for reliable spring feeding as well as a complete range of spring separators for manual assembly stations.
Post manufacturing options
Compression springs are often a small but vital part of the complete product. It is therefore very important that the springs used are within the desired length, diameter and, especially, load tolerances.
To ensure the quality of the spring and thereby the end product, COLOMBI has developed a number of post manufacturing options that can be used together with the COLOMBI coilers. These options allow all manufactured springs to be measured, heat treated and stress relieved, and verified. Not only will you have springs delivered with a better function, but all spring that do not measure up to your standards and tolerances will be sorted out. This means that you can guarantee that all springs that are assembled in your products are in accordance with your specifications.
The Orbit system
The COLOMBI Orbit is a unit that is integrated with the coiler to enable the use of the post manufacturing functions. The COLOMBI Orbit consists of an index table with 12 or 24 nests where the springs are placed for the various controls and treatments. The springs are usually blown from the coiler to the Orbit and from the Orbit to the assembly in plastic tubes.
The Privus System
The COLOMBI Privus is a unit that is integrated with the coiler when using either the heating or load control functions. The COLOMBI Privus consists of an index table with 4 nests where the springs are placed for either load control or heating. The springs are usually blown from the coiler to the Privus and from the Privus to the assembly in plastic tubes.
Delivery
The delivery of the springs to the assembly line or work station can be customized according to your needs. The springs can be delivered to widely seperated points of the assembly line and more then one spring can be delivered each cycle.
