COLOMBI Escapement
An automatic spring feeder equipped with an escapement enables the feeder to deliver one spring on demand directly to an assembly line.
An escapement should always be mounted vertically with the outlet downwards.
When starting up the unit, the spring feeder will fill up a queue. When the queue is satisfied, the escapement will deliver one spring when it receives an external start signal. As soon as the queue goes below the max queue level, the spring feeder automatically starts and feeds springs until the max queue level is satisfied again.
