CNC-based Guide wire Coiler
The CNC-based COLOMBI C111 coiler has been designed and developed in corporation with a market leading pharmaceutical and medical devices manufacturer. The guide wires are used in medical areas such as urology, radiology and angiography. The C111 coiler can produce springs with closed coils and with small diameter for other than medical purposes.
A flexible production solution
By using pins to determine to OD of the spiral, the Colombi system coils spirals without the need of a mandrel. This makes changing the spiral OD very simple. By changing the position of the coiling pins via a micrometer screw, a different diameter of the spiral is achieved.
A reliable production solution
The CNC-based COLOMBI coiler uses a servo motor to feed the wire resulting in a constant and smooth coiling process. The electrical Dereeler that feeds the wire is another contributing unit that helps achieving good coiling result. The C111 coiler is able to coil up to five meters long Guide wires.
Collector
To make the logistic with the finished Guide wires easier, a collector can be connected to the coiler. After the coiling process the Guide wires are cut off in to the collector. The device can be disconnected and removed easy.

Colombi C111
The COLOMBI C111 is designed to produce springs with closed coils and Guide wires. The outside diameter size between 0,5 to 2,5mm and wire diameter ranging from 0,1 to 0,25 mm.
